This is a slightly older project that I made to simulate stellar debris falling into a black hole. I made this in Java using LWJGL (a Java library for OpenGL). I have always been interested in gravity simulations, and games like Universe Sandbox and Kerbal Space Program are big inspirations for me.
This program helped me get a job at the scientific software company Stellar Science in Albuquerque in the summer of 2018. I've improved on it a bit since then (updated graphics and starting scenarios), but for the most part I've left it as is. The video is also the one I originally recorded for Stellar Science.
